About Us

Online Goal Tracker helps you plan a goal by breaking it into smaller, actionable steps — and then track it visually. Your goal becomes a plan you can look at: each step drawn in the order the work happens, with the links between them showing what is blocked and what is ready. Tick steps off as you go and the picture of where you are keeps itself current.

Our mission

We want to help people turn intentions into consistent action. The hard part of a goal is rarely the first day — it is knowing what comes next on the day you have lost the thread. Our job is to keep that answer on screen, and to make logging progress quick enough that tracking stays a habit rather than a chore.

Seeing the plan is what makes that quick. A page of notes has to be read before it can be understood, and re-read every time you come back to it; the same plan drawn out is understood at a glance — what is done, what is next, what is waiting on something else. Planning and reviewing visually saves the time you would spend wading through text, and leaves that attention for the thinking that actually matters: whether these are the right steps, and in the right order.

What we built

Online Goal Tracker is an online goal tracker app where each goal is a plan graph: milestones as steps, and the dependencies between them drawn as links, so you can see what is blocked and what is ready. Tick a step as you finish it, break one down when it turns out to be bigger than it looked, and keep sub-goals under the step they belong to. Goals that repeat — daily, weekly, monthly or one-off — still get a calendar overview and a consistency heatmap. Your tracker lives at a username you can open from any device, phone, tablet or desktop, because it is saved for your account rather than in one browser.

A personal AI assistant, end to end

Every signed-in tracker gets an assistant that already knows your plans. Ask it to break a goal into steps, draw the dependency between two of them, log what you finished, or say where you have stalled — it edits the plan for you rather than telling you which button to press, and in propose mode it stages the change for you to accept first. On a paid plan it goes further than planning: send it at a single step and it does the work and reports back, reaches your connected Gmail or GitHub when a step needs them, and stops to ask you whenever it hits a decision that is yours. You can also point Claude or Cursor straight at your goals over MCP and work on them from your editor.

Why start from someone else's plan

Most tools hand you a blank page and wish you luck, and most people never come back. We flipped that: the Goals Library is open to browse before you sign in, so you can read real plans — every step, in the order the work happens — and judge whether one fits before committing. Copy one into your own tracker and it becomes yours to change; the original stays with its author. Starting from a path that already worked is what helps goals stick.

What it costs

Browsing the library is free and needs no account. Tracking your own goals does need one — that is what your plans are saved against — and signing in with Google takes a moment. The free plan covers 5 goals; paid plans lift the limit and add per-goal privacy controls, public sharing, day planning, and an AI assistant that can draft and edit a plan with you. See Pricing for the details.

What we value

  • Speed. The page loads fast and updates instantly.
  • Simplicity. No dashboards to configure and nothing to learn.
  • Privacy. Nothing of yours reaches the Goals Library unless you submit it there, and you can withdraw it whenever you like.
  • Access. Free to start, with light and dark modes.
